Rose Perez is a visiting scholar from the University of Chicago, where she is pursuing a doctoral degree in social service. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and Masters in Latin American Studies and in Social Work from the University of Chicago. Rose is working with Dr. Csikszentmihalyi to develop her doctoral thesis focusing on the well-being of immigrant adolescents. Rose informs her research by teaching a course on immigration and refugee policy at the University of Chicago and is pursuing licensure for clinical social work targeting the bilingual Spanish / English community.
